In anticipation of release models of the GeForce 600, which made its debut to take place in the coming year, firms NVIDIA partners are left with no choice but to experiment with the already available on the market GPUs. An interesting solution was noted, in particular, the company Inno3D, formally presented a version of the adapter’s entry-level GeForce GT 430 with 4 GB of memory on board, that four times the amount of frame buffer in the standard configuration.
Of course, hardly anyone would ever think to use Inno3D GeForce GT430 4GB for video games, all the same performance in the accelerator is not the most outstanding. However, this card could well be useful for designers, who do not require high levels of performance, but a large amount of frame buffer, in contrast, is critical. Other features include the new non-reference PCB and full-sized cooling system with a large fan.
As for the 4 GB of “onboard” memory type DDR3 production of Micron, it operates at 1333 MHz and is connected to video processor through a 128-bit bus. GPU clock speed and shader in the 96 CUDA cores equals 700 and 1400 MHz, respectively, and the system includes video output ports Dual-link DVI, HDMI and D-Sub. On the cost and timing of new products based on 40 nm chip GF108 is not reported.
