Just when I thought HP was about to give the Mini 210 netbook a rest, here comes the company announcing that the HP Mini 210 was just redesigned – now featuring candy-colored lids, nicely working touchpad and bumped up 6-cell battery as compared to the previous 4-cell battery pack. HP has also added Beats Audio into the system hoping to make it a great entertainment and productivity mini-machine. Unfortunately, when it comes to technical specs, the redesigned HP Mini 210 doesn’t have anything new to offer. It’s still the same machine equipped with either Intel Atom N455 or N475, 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 250GB to 320GB HDD.
The redesigned HP Mini 210 will start hitting the U.S. Market by June 15 and will cost you $300 for the unit in charcoal color and $330 for any of the following funkier color options – sweet purple, charcoal, crimson red, luminous rose and ocean drive. Yes, that’s additional $30 to have your HP Mini 210 in candy-colored lids. So, who’s getting one?
